The Telangana government has launched the Young India Integrated Residential Schools (YIIRS) initiative as a major education reform to establish modern, integrated residential schools across the state. The project focuses on providing high‑quality education through advanced infrastructure, technology‑enabled classrooms, and comprehensive residential facilities, thereby creating an inclusive and modern learning environment. The initiative is being implemented by the Telangana State Education Welfare and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGEWIDC).
